Building a home from out of state can easily become a stressful nightmare, but working with Richardson Construction on our cabin in Wears Valley was an absolute dream. From day one to handed-over keys, they made the entire process remarkably smooth, transparent, and enjoyable. Every single member of their team truly exceeded our expectations. Chester, the owner, provided invaluable guidance right from the start, helping us with optimal house placement, navigating HOA requirements, and sharing best practices. Josh kept us well-informed with clear, transparent estimates and consistently tracked how we were trending against our budget so there were never any unwelcome financial surprises. Bobby was an absolute joy to work with when it came time to make all our finish selections, helping guide our vision so everything came together seamlessly. Finally, Brad, our project manager, went above and beyond for us in every possible way. He was hands down the best PM we could have asked for, always proactively solving problems and stepping in to help immediately whenever anything went wrong. Richardson Construction delivered incredible quality with zero stress, even with us managing the build remotely. If we ever build again in the area, we would choose them again without a second thought. Highly recommended!

We recently completed a new cabin build in Sevier County. We worked with Richardson Construction from start to finish and are extremely pleased with the finished house. The professionalism and transparency is far above any group we have worked with in the past. Josh did a fantastic job of tracking the numbers and details, keeping us in the loop and answering our questions. Brad was an excellent project manager, onsite seemingly everyday, keeping all the subs on track with our vision. Even after the project was completed, Brad has helped us resolve any issues that have arisen. And Chester was there from start to finish, whenever we needed him. If we ever build another cabin in that area, RC will be who we call.

We recently spent the last 2 1/2 years from plan review to completed build, working with the amazing team from Richardson Construction LLC. Attention to detail through all phases of the project. Their entire staff and sub-team could not have been more flexible, helpful and easy to work with. Our Project Manager, Brad, was the best! He was always willing to listen to our creative vision for the project, offering "budget friendly" solutions to make it happen. The final product speaks for itself in the pictures below!

My wife and I had Richardson Construction build our house from the ground up, I can't say enough how professional and wonderful the experience was working with their team, we knew what the layout of the house we wanted and they helped us design to what we wanted. we have been in the house for two and a half years and we had some minor things done right after we moved in and Richardson people addressed what we wanted right away. we are very happy living in our new home and I can't thank Richardson Construction for making our dream come true. Thank you, Chester, Bobby, Josh, Kerry, Jack, the field team and of course Daniel who sent me photos daily on the progress of what was going on since I lived out of state. Steve Rice

The whole crew is awesome. From planning to design to Floorplans to building. They took care of everything for us. Progress pictures were sent everyday during construction. When we wanted changes, the design team made it happen. We had our home built on time without delays. We loved every minute of it. Thank you Richardson Construction.

My husband and i hired Richardson Construction to build our dream home on an extremely difficult lot. The project manager, Brad Teaster has been excellent by keeping us informed of the progress since we lived 5 hr away. There's only one Builder fir your dream home, Richardson Construction.

As out-of-state clients we couldn't be happier with the results of our new home. The staff at Richardson Construction was very responsive to all our questions and graciously walked us through the process of designing our home.

We’ve used Richardson construction on multiple residential and commercial projects! Their team is the best of the best!!

These guys are great to work with..do an amazing job from start to finish..highly recommend them, and a great Christian atmosphere...

Did a fantastic job building our home! Excellent customer service

We actually had three projects RC., LLC did at our house. For all three of our projects, Richardson constructions project lead made suggestions that made our project really stand out. They always returned phone calls, and text typically within that first day. I highly recommend their expertise and attention to details. Chester Richardson and team were also the original builders of the home over 10 years ago. The high quality of their work on the home made it an easy decision on whom to trust our project with. They did not disappoint! And the projects came in at, or below budget.

Our PM Kerry was always reachable. RC did the roof 1st, then a complete remodel of the cabin...inside and out. It turned out better than we expected. I strongly recommend RC and wouldn't hesitate to use them on any future projects.

Richardson's built our home in Townsend in 2019 and the experience was fantastic. We had the need for additional external storage and the only company we talked to was Richardson’s. Kerry did an awesome job coordinating the project having the work completed in just a few weeks. He checked in regularly and always insured that the workers left the site organized and clean. In summary no matter how large or small your project is Richardson’s is the one you should have doing the job.

To make a long story short. We had a fireplace update done by Archie's Fireplace & Stone, Knoxville. It was an absolute disaster, to include an improper install and damage to my home. See a detailed review on their website. Richardson Construction to the rescue. When we first noticed the damage to the home, I contacted the home builder. They were here immediately, including Chester Richardson, the owner of the company. They immediately diagnosed the problem and developed a plan to correct and repair the problem. The Project Manager, Kerry Whitaker, was a true professional. He took his time to explain each step of the process and offered plenty of options to get the fireplace repaired and to our liking. This is the second time we have used Richardson Construction for projects and both times we've had an outstanding experience. I would highly recommend Richardson Construction for any and all home projects.

Our experience with Richardson Construction and with our PM Kerry Whitaker was exceptional. We renovated my father's home in Townsend from afar. Despite this long-distance oversight, there was no stress due to our confidence in this group and Kerry's excellent communication. We received regular updates, guidance when needed and well thought out options when decision time arose. The work is terrific and the home looks great. Thank you Richardson Construction!

Richardson Construction is definitely a five star company. The whole team was easy to work with and our PM was the absolute best. They genuinely care about every home they build. After being in our cabin for one year, we have no complaints.

They build a top notch house. They may build the best house in the area. We are very satisfied with the build. They listened intently to out concerns. Our house was a custom build mountain home. The builder made adjustments as needed to assure the best quality for the money. There is not one settlement crack anywhere in our house after 2 1/2 years. They honored our 1 year warranty completely. Their superintendents were outstanding. I would highly recommend Richardson Construction. I would use them again. Thank you.

Richardson Construction did what I call a "Refresh" of the exterior of our house as well as some interior painting and installing two interior doors. This included power washing the siding, replacing siding as needed, painting the exterior, cleaning a porch ceiling, adding soffits, new gutters, new roof, putting stucco on the exposed block basement wall and foundation, a small roof over an exterior door, blocking off some basement windows, and maybe more that I forgot. The work was completed ahead of schedule, and the cost was reasonable. Kerry, the project manager, communicated well and in a timely manner. We've dealt with other construction companies that were unreliable and did poor quality work. Overall, this was a good experience, and we do not hesitate to recommend Richardson Construction to others.

Richardson Construction knocked it out of the park for us! Every detail that was important to us, was important to them. Their entire staff is kind and professional. For us, a local builder who has been in business for many years was essential. Could not be happier. Highly recommend them for all of your construction projects and needs.

Kerry and his team are fantastic and we are so pleased with the finished project! Richardson construction is transparent, responsive to their clients, and great people to work with. I highly recommend Richardson Construction!

Kerry Whitaker did a great job on my renovations on our home. Working on the mountainside is never easy, but Kerry guided his crew to solve a subsidence issue we had. Several other “older home” issues were handled equally well!

We built a cabin in Wears valley. Chester and his team are wonderful to deal with. They are very professional, responsive to communication and addresses your input promptly. Also stayed in budget. Highly recommend.

Great experience building our cabin with Richardson Construction. As a numbers guy, I really appreciated the regular financial reports. I always knew exactly where we stood with regards to the budget. This allowed us to add or upgrade features on the fly (ie: we were able to concrete the driveway because we were ahead on the budget). Chester is hands on and listens to his clients needs and wants. Bobby was very helpful with putting the colors and finishes together and making good suggestions along the way. Brad was always available to answer questions, handle issues, etc. We would definitely recommend Richardson for your construction needs.

Richardson Construction did a wonderful job building our home. The entire team is professional, kind, talented, and detail oriented. We really enjoyed working with our project leader, Brad, and his thoughtful handling of any changes along the way. We recommend working Chester Richardson and his team to build your home!

Absolutely the best builder! We cannot express enough how truly thankful we are to have worked with Chester and the entire team at Richardson to build our dream home. From the moment we stepped into Richardson Construction we were greeted with the highest levels of quality, thoughtfulness, and workmanship. The positive energy, excellent communication, and thorough follow through from start to finish on every aspect of the project made working with Richardson an absolute pleasure. We look forward to referring and working with Richardson in the future.

We started our building process about the same time as Covid-19 became prevalent. Richardson was a great builder who worked with us closely throughout the entire process. The staff is very cordial and detail oriented, which translated to a quality build to our specifications. We have, and will continue to recommend Chester and the crew highly.

Richardson and company built us a beatiful house! They shared our vision for the build and executed in a communicative and responsive way. Construction was of the highest quality, no shortcuts were taken.

We don't know where to begin! Chester and his Team did a fabulous job! Every team member from Fimance group to Project Manager, treated us as If we were their only client. Everything matters to them, and if it matters to their client be sure they are listening as it matters to them too. A few pics of our custom home to follow.

Just finished building our custom home in the last year during COVID - not an easy task! The team and their vendors were responsive, helpful and accommodating with safety precautions. We are pleased with the quality and craftsmanship of the work and we are extremely happy with our beautiful new home!

Great custom home builder

Richardson built our modern home. We could not be happier with the workmanship, building crew, and overall experience. Not only were they professional with all the details, but kept the job sight cleaned up every evening. We have a lot of built ins and April did a fantastic job of seeing what we envisioned. The entire project was painless and smooth. We would recommend them to anyone wanting a high quality home built.

Best of the best. I've known Chester Richardson for almost 30 years, and he is an upstanding man and awesome business owner. Quality to the max. Highly recommend this business to anyone.

Professional through and through!

We have wanted a barn-style garage/workshop for several years, but couldn't figure out where to put it on our property. Richardson Construction designed exactly what we wanted, then built exactly what we wanted. The quality is top-notch. Creative, beautiful design work. Premium materials and expert craftsmanship. Our project presented several challenges -- we didn't have a perfect location for what we wanted, for instance -- and they found beautiful solutions to every challenge. How satisfied are we? We are immediately hiring them for another big renovation.

Chester Richardson Cnstruction built a fantastic home for us. A very professional company. Richardson uses high quality material and professional workmanship. Chester made sure that our home was finished on time, expert workmanship and within budget. We highly recommend Richardson Construction for your home building needs and your remodeling plans. Richardson Construction helped us turn a dream into a reality. Chester and his people worked with us on the design, gave us routine updates, and helped us make the decisions that would give us the most benefit within our budget. So many people talk about building their home as a nightmare—a grueling process filled with dishonesty and disappointment—that leaves them somewhat resentful of the home they built. We are so happy not to have had that experience, and we credit Richardson Construction entirely for that blessing.

Richardson Construction did a major renovation on our house and we were extremely pleased with the results. If ever there were any issues all were taken care of in fine fashion. I would never hesitate to call on them for any job large or small.

Have had several custom homes built. Richardson Construction custom built a place for us in Townsend. In all regards the experience was the best-including communication, responsiveness and commitment. The construction quality and attention to detail are superb and have warranted numerous compliments from guests.

Richard Contruction built a home for us 3 years ago. We have been so happy with our home. They handled every detail with the utmost professionalism. They are easy to communicate with and always eager to please. We would highly recommend Richardson Construction for your building needs.

Moved to Tn from out of state. Chester and his team worked with us on finding a lot that fit our plans. He was able to incorporate our changes in budget and ahead of schedule. Helped us find a construction loan vendor. Impressed with detailed accounting provided during construction. A highly professional team with utmost character. We are living our dream now.

Chester and his team build to the highest standards. From my perspective as a sub-contractor, I appreciate their honesty with clients and communication with subs. Keep up the good work!

I strongly recommend Richardson for new construction and remodeling ideas. They have a wonderful roofing division and build beautiful homes. Top-notch contractor. A++
